Course 8: Theoretical approaches to describe exotic nuclei

The first edition of Course 8 on Theoretical approaches to describe exotic nuclei, titled Atomic Nuclei as Open Quantum Systems: Unifying Nuclear Structure and Reactions, will be offered at the INT in Seattle, WA, USA from June 22 to July 10, 2020. The principal lecturers will be Christian Forssén (Chalmers University of Technology), Witek Nazarewicz (Michigan State University), Marek Ploszajczak (GANIL), and Alexander Volya (Florida State University). In this course, students will learn about the fundamental concepts pertaining to the unification of nuclear structure and reaction theory and they will be introduced to state-of-the-art theoretical methods that can be used for weakly bound and unbound nuclear states.

See this temporary page for additional information.
