Upcoming courses

TALENT courses planned for 2017 and 2018:

  • The second edition of Course 5: Theory for exploring nuclear structure experiments will be held at the ECT* in Trento, Italy in summer, 2017. Morten Hjorth-Jensen (Oslo/MSU) and Alex Brown (MSU) will be the principal organizers.
  • The second edition of Course 6: Theory for exploring nuclear reaction experiments will be held at MSU in East Lansing, MI in summer, 2017. The same team from the first edition of Course 6 will return.
  • The first edition of Course 8 on Theoretical approaches to describe exotic nuclei will be titled "Atomic Nuclei as Open Quantum Systems: Unifying Nuclear Structure and Reactions". It will be offered in the summer of 2018. The principal lecturers will be Christian Forssén (Chalmers University of Technology), Witek Nazarewicz (Michigan State University), Marek Ploszajczak (GANIL), and Alexander Volya (Florida State University). Contact: Christian Forssén (christian.forssen@chalmers.se).
